Wow, we had a blast this year at the Annapolis sailboat show – the highlight being the meetup. We’re so thankful for everyone who stopped by to chat!

We have a full sailboat review coming your way…actually, it’s a three-bat comparison. We take a look at three 40-44 foot modern cruising sailboats to show off all the bells and whistles. Plus, Olivia, Nancy, and I each give our take and first impressions – from a practice cruiser’s point of view.
You know, we’re going to comment on all the things the salespeople don’t think about. All the things that matter when you leave the dock.
Coming to Youtube this weekend!
Back Creek, Anchoring in Annapolis MD
Back Creek is our choice of anchorages in Annapolis. It’s easy access to the beautiful peninsula town known as Eastport. It also provides easy access to laundry, fuel, water, groceries, and a hard ware store.
Other anchorages include Spa Creek, Weems Creek, and the main Annapolis Harbor.

We love this anchorage. It may be a little tight, but the views are worth it!

It’s like a non-stop boat show in Back Creek. The anchorage always has beautiful sailboats coming and going. Many of them wizz in under sail – weaving and swerving with the power of the wind.

This gorgeous lighthouse is just to port when coming to Annapolis Harbor from the Atlantic.
The Thomas Point Shoal Light, also known as Thomas Point Shoal Light Station, is a historic lighthouse in the Chesapeake Bay on the east coast of the United States, and the most recognized lighthouse in Maryland.
