  1. This tip jar/kind words is brand new, so I’ll break it in with the first comments. Just saying, I’m glad you visited us here! Cheers.

    Thanks for the great videos!

    1. Yes, and thanks for leaving a few kind words!

I am so sorry I missed the call last night! I sent my RSVP and I really wanted to participate, but something came up. Maybe next time. I have tried sending a tip with two different credit cards and it keeps saying check your info and try again. I triple checked and it was right, but would not allow me to pay. I am so sorry. I was going to send via PayPal, but I had nothing in my account and said it would take 3-5 days for PayPal to receive it. Very strange. I haven’t used PayPal in a very long time. I thought it used to be an instant transfer.

    1. We missed you at the Captain’s Hour, but hopefully, next time!
Thanks, Shane. I’m sorry for the hiccups here – – I’ll check the backend on the tip jar…it’s a new software for me.

I am trying to enter a $20.00 tip with a credit card but it will not allow the payment to go through. I do not have PayPal other types of payment.

    1. Hi Tim! Thanks for joining us at Captain’s Hour, and congrats again on your new sailboat! We just updated our tip jar to correct this error. https://www.buymeacoffee.com/svcadence
      We appreciate your support.

Hey Fosters! We’ve been following you guys for the last year-took us quite a while to catch up on 4 years of adventures. We’re living the life vicariously through you.
Been on sail boats for 50 years and currently sail a C350 on the Chesapeake. We’re out this weekend thanks to you bringing this great weather.
We’re on a ball in Spa Creek and dinked over to Back Creek to say hi this morning. Sorry we missed you.
Enjoy the jewel of the Chesapeake- if folks haven’t given you a few anchorages, we can.
Thanks again for letting us share the dream.

    1. Mark and Lu, thanks for dropping a comment – sorry for our delayed response…we move SLOW in the winter, lol. You know, the Catalina 350 was the first sailboat we ever looked at – beautiful boat.

  6. Very well done and good to see a calm captain. We’ve been sailboat less for a few years after selling our IP 380. Got an offer on a Catalina 387 and hoping to close on it. Obviously you love your boat, but would appreciate any tips on the specifics. I’m a professional filmmaker and your video blogs are so well done. If you’re ever in St. Pete looks us up, we have a 40 ft. slip that may be available on Boca Ciega Bay.

    1. Hey Bill, thanks for dropping a comment and a few kind words about our video work!! We’ll look you up next time we’re in St.Pete.
